Take heart. A new novel, about to be published, takes up this exciting story where ‘Plumb’ left off. As you may recall, that story ended with an actual-factual cliff-hanger! Which Tapique apparently survived. But did she get back to where she wanted to be? Back with family and friends? Those folks who would support her as she attempts to imagine a life without Nat? And what of Nat? Tapique believes he has died. While Nat is having a difficult time realizing he is no longer living in the universe he thought he was in.

Well, spoiler alert–in the new novel, DOWN TIME, Nat soon catches on to that unpleasant fact. With his bumbling he learns several interesting things about how to navigate time-travel, and uses the knowledge to reconnect with his love.
