Dell has known her share of demons while growing up rough on the big city streets. Her escape to the Northern Plains, finding family and friends and meaningful employment with a sympathetic sheriff in a tiny Dakota county, has helped keep them at bay.
But now her friend Pan is in trouble in the desert where he goes to escape the worst of the winter. When Dell jumps at the opportunity to help, she is excited by the prospect of doing stuff along the way she’s never done before. Seeing the London Bridge! Exploring the Grand Canyon! Meeting new people!
Unfortunately, a new crop of demons is along for the ride. Assailants, kidnappers, drug dealers, and murderous gangs. Some demons reside in her head, for sure. Most of these are up to no good, although one may be on her side. Friends who’ve seen the havoc it wreaks are not so sure.
Many lowlifes who plague Dell soon realize she is not the ideal target for their mischief but find it impossible to change horses in mid-stream. They learn the hard way she always ends up with fewer demons than she starts with.
DELL’S DEMONS, by ML Biddison, is book 5 in the Red Mist Girl series that began with Dell’s Rage. It is now available as an Ebook on Amazon Kindle and soon as a Trade Paperback.
